Which is my roundabout way of saying that this week's anime review over on the Brainjar TV Youtube channel is up!
This time, I take a look at the anime adaptation of Takaya Kagami's giggle-inducingly entitled Legend of the Legendary Heroes, which poses the question 'just how much of a long running fantasy novel series can you cram into 24 episodes?'
Which is a question I answer, more or less. Over the course of 7 and a half minutes.
Here's the link - and remember to like, subscribe and comment. Because all of that helps me to keep doing these reviews, believe it or not.

So, I hear you guys like big robots.
Some new things on the YooChoobz!
I realised that I hadn't updated my DA journal with anything from my YouTube channel for a while. Time to rectify that, I think! In case you've missed it, I've been writing and presenting a show on YouTube since 2018 called 'HdE's Totally Unoriginal Gaming Show.' And it's a bit of a cult hit, apparently. It's in a bit of a weird position at the moment. YouTube doesn't push content like mine, simply because my numbers don't make it worth their while to. But I keep plugging away, nonetheless. In this latest video, I take a look at an especially remarkable home conversion of an arcade classic. Although, it's possibly remarkable for the wrong reasons. I always try to find games to talk about on the show that can be described as 'interesting' for some reason or another, and this one definitely fits the bill, in spite of its outwardly simple appearance. Go give it a watch, why don't you!
Something new on the YouTubes!
Hello folks! Haven't seen a great deal of me around here lately, have you? I just wanted to drop in with a quick share of my latest YouTube content. If you're subscribed to me over there, then it won't come as new news that I produce an irregular video game review show on the platform - HdE's Totally Unoriginal Gaming Show. In it, I strive to produce analytical reviews of games from all eras. The show's gained something of a 'cult hit' status, and even gets a tiny bit of funding from the general public which helps to ensure its continued production. It was recently described to me as 'one of the best kept secrets in the YouTube retro scene.' The thing is, I don't exclusively cover games that could be described as 'retro.' But I DO keep an eye out for anything that strikes me as especially interesting to feature over there. And the subject of my latest video most definitely qualifies. In this one, I look at the Xbox 360 port of Quake 4 - a high profile release that quite
Behold the misadventures of... THE TEA ETERNAL!
Hey folks - long time no update! Just a quickie here to let you all know that I was recently roped into helping a sentient cup of tea put some YouTube videos together. He's threatening that there are more to come, apparently. Something about wanting to avail mankind of his wisdom during the current global crisis. I dunno. Anyway, here's a video where he explains his intentions, and take a question from a member of the public: youtu.be/kfxdy5c0tAc And here's another, where another questioning (or is that 'questionable?') individual asks some REALLY deep questions about the relationship twixt tea and pinball. youtu.be/DhVmdvOoJFw Apparently, this is what my life is now. Oh well... if it makes someone laugh during these trying times, it'll all have been worth it, I guess. Stay safe out there, my dudes!
